An open hut is a door that is never locked, a stove always ready to be relit, and a logbook filled with words left by strangers.
Nothing belongs to anyone, yet everyone takes care of it. That is the spirit of the huts.

In a world where these values are fading, these shelters run counter to the current. In a way, they are proof that another way of being human is possible.

THE PROJECT
Years spent searching for them across Europe, hundreds of nights sleeping in them. I've met people of all nationalities there : shepherds, mountaineers, hikers, or simple nature lovers.
But they are also places made for solitude and introspection. Places where time seems to slow down, where the silence finally makes space for thought.
Moments suspended in time. And when you come here alone, this isolation allows for a true reconnection with nature and with yourself.
It's a world where adventure meets poetry: setting off, discovering, exploring, sometimes getting lost... But above all, taking the time... To look, to feel, and to wonder.
The ambition of this adventure
Shot over an entire year, this series offers an immersive journey from hut to hut across Europe, exploring the beauty and diversity of its landscapes, far from mass tourism and overcrowded spots.
A journey to meet the men and women who, through their work, their activities, or simply their way of life, bring these places and the surrounding lands to life.
A journey to understand what these huts tell us about ourselves, our relationship with nature, with others, and with the world.
